ARF’s eighth annual Animals on Broadway event was held at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek on Sunday, May 18 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Once again, the crowds were greeted with a spectacular sunny day as ARF welcomed more than 3,000 visitors and an assortment of 4-legged animals.
Vendor booths lined the street, consisting of various pet-related businesses including photographers, sitters, food sales, toys and supplies, and other non-profit rescue organizations representing various breeds.
Animals on Broadway offered fun for the whole family, from dog dancing demonstrations, dog wash, silly pet tricks, cutest dog costume and more. Exciting raffle prizes were given away throughout the event and visitors enjoyed live music by Six String at the main stage.
ARF salutes the amazing Broadway Plaza merchants who supported the event by hosting games and contests for both dogs and people. Animals on Broadway would not be possible without the friendship and support of Broadway Plaza management, especially Tracy Dietlein and her team.
