Pet Resource & Referral Center
Contact the Resource & Referral Center for tips on responsible pet
guardianship, free advice and resources regarding pet behavior issues,
and referrals to local community resources for dog training, feral cat
management, breed rescue and other issues. You may call the center at
(925) 256-1ARF (256-1273) or submit an inquiry to the resource center volunteers.
Before calling, you may wish to check ARF's online Dog Behavior Library and Cat Behavior Library for more information on your issue.
Medical emergencies
If your animal has a medical emergency, please do not email ARF. Call
your local veterinarian for immediate assistance. Most communities have
an emergency vet clinic; consult your phone book.
